I am so happy to see the guys at Flow Hive creating such excitement about beekeeping. They should be congratulated on developing such a great product, and I personally hope that the new Flow Hive is used in a bee friendly way, where the focus is on keeping the bees healthy and happy and the honey is a seasonal extra when we are lucky.

The team behind the Flow Hive are doing so well raising funds and it looks like it will smash all records, but the bottom line is even with a flow hive, you will still need to manage and inspect the bee hive, making sure the brood is healthy, there is space for the queen and new eggs and that there are no pests or diseases getting a hold.
